Privacy Policy for Brain Puzzle: Brain Training

Brain Puzzle works without creating an account. You do not need to provide your name, email address, password, or a profile to play. Your progress is stored locally on your device unless limited technical data is sent to our services as described below.

Information stored on your device

The app stores gameplay and preference data locally on your device using secure on-device storage. This helps the game work and remember your progress. It may include:

• latest and best Brain Score
• score history from recent sessions
• category performance totals
• daily challenge completion state and streaks
• brain tests completed per UTC day (for free-tier limits)
• sound, haptics, and language preferences
• onboarding and settings state

This data stays on your device unless you delete the app or use features that send limited information to third-party services described in this policy.

Analytics

When product analytics is enabled (through PostHog), we may collect basic usage information to understand how the app is used and to improve it. This may include:

• app opens and screen views
• in-app events, such as starting or finishing a session
• puzzle types attempted and session modes (brain test, daily, training)
• Brain Pro paywall and purchase funnel events (without payment card details)
• device type and operating system version
• app version and approximate performance-related data

Analytics events may include puzzle IDs, category metadata, and gameplay summaries. They do not include full puzzle text, your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location, personal messages, or payment card or bank details.

Crash reporting and diagnostics

When crash reporting is enabled (through Sentry), we may collect crash reports and error diagnostics to find and fix bugs. This may include:

• error messages and stack traces
• device type and operating system version
• app version
• technical logs or breadcrumbs needed to understand what happened

Crash reports are used for stability and quality improvements. They are not used to assess your cognitive ability or health.

Advertising

The free version of Brain Puzzle may show interstitial ads (through Google AdMob) after completed game sessions. Ads are not intended to appear during active puzzle gameplay.

Ads are configured as non-personalized. Brain Puzzle does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission for ad tracking in the current release. Ad networks may still receive limited technical data required to deliver and measure ads, such as device identifiers permitted by your platform settings.

Brain Pro subscribers do not see interstitial ads after completed sessions.

Subscriptions and purchases

Brain Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription offered through the Apple App Store or Google Play. When you subscribe or restore a purchase, Apple, Google, and our subscription infrastructure (RevenueCat) may process limited transaction and entitlement data needed to confirm your subscription status.

This may include:

• an anonymous app user identifier generated on your device
• subscription product identifier (monthly or yearly)
• purchase, renewal, and expiration status
• restore-purchase requests

We do not receive or store your full payment card number or bank account details. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google according to their privacy policies.

No medical or IQ certification data

Brain Score and category ratings are in-app performance metrics for entertainment only. We do not collect, store, or transmit official IQ test results, psychological evaluations, medical records, or any data intended for clinical or diagnostic use.

Third-party services

Brain Puzzle may use third-party services to distribute, operate, analyze, monetize, and improve the app. Depending on configuration, these may include:

• Apple App Store and related Apple services
• Google Play and related Google services
• Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads (interstitial advertising)
• PostHog (product analytics)
• RevenueCat (subscription and entitlement management)
• Sentry (crash reporting)

Each provider has its own privacy practices. The services used may change as the app develops. We encourage you to review their policies for more detail.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share limited technical, analytics, or subscription data with service providers when needed to operate, test, analyze, monetize, and improve Brain Puzzle. We require providers to use data only for the services they perform for us.

Children's privacy

Brain Puzzle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will review the request and delete the information where appropriate.

Your choices, data deletion, and contact

Because the app does not require an account, most of your gameplay data is stored on your device. You can remove local app data by deleting the app from your device.

Analytics or crash data tied to an anonymous identifier may be reviewed or deleted where technically possible. Please include enough detail in your message for us to help.

To manage or cancel a Brain Pro subscription, use your Apple ID or Google Play account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Brain Puzzle develops. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
